This Privacy Policy applies to PDF Pilot, a professional PDF management, editing, viewing and conversion application for Android devices. This policy fully complies with Google Play Developer Policies, CCPA, GDPR and other global data privacy regulations.

We take user device security and file privacy extremely seriously. All core functions of PDF Pilot run locally on your device. By downloading, installing and using this application, you fully acknowledge and agree to the privacy terms stated below.

2. Collection of Device & Application Data

PDF Pilot strictly adheres to the data minimization principle. We only collect limited anonymous, non-identifiable device data to maintain normal operation, stability and user experience of the application. We will never actively collect any personal sensitive information.

We clearly state: The above collected data cannot be used to identify any individual user. We do not collect your device serial number, IMEI, MAC address or other unique device identifiers.

Privacy Reminder: All anonymous device data is only used for internal product optimization. We will not match, associate or trace any data to specific users or devices.

3. Required Permissions & File Privacy Protection

PDF Pilot requests necessary system permissions only to implement PDF viewing, editing, saving and management functions. All file operations are completed locally on your mobile device.

Storage & File Access Permission

This permission is required to read, open, edit, save and manage PDF files and related documents stored on your device. The application can only access files you actively open or operate.

We promise: All PDF content, text, pictures and confidential information inside your documents will never be uploaded, transmitted, backed up or shared to any external server. Your local files are completely controlled by you.

Media & Document Access Permission

This permission helps the app scan and list all PDF and document files in your device directory for your quick selection. The application will not actively browse, read or analyze other unrelated private files.

We do not extract, copy or disseminate any content from your documents. All file processing behaviors are limited inside your own device.

4. Usage Scope of Collected Device Data

The anonymous device data we collect will only be used for the following legitimate purposes, and will not be used beyond the agreed scope:

5. Data Retention & Deletion Rules

For anonymous device operation logs and crash data: we only retain such data for a limited time for technical maintenance. After completing optimization and bug fixing, relevant logs will be automatically cleared.

For your local PDF files and documents: all files are permanently stored on your device. PDF Pilot does not occupy, back up or retain any of your files on our servers. You have full authority to delete, move or rename all files at any time.

6. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

PDF Pilot will never sell, trade, rent or lease your device data, file content or any related information to any third party for commercial, advertising or marketing purposes.

We will not disclose your device information and document data to any external organization or individual, unless required by local laws, regulations or judicial decisions.

7. Device & Data Security Protection Measures

We adopt multiple security mechanisms to protect your device and file privacy:
